## Choose the support your transformation needs

### When outside support helps

External consulting is useful when strategic direction is clear but everyday work is not changing, teams disagree on priorities, or internal capacity is stretched. An outside perspective helps surface friction and structure difficult decisions. The aim is to support your people, not take ownership away from them.

### SME focus, enterprise coordination

For an SME, the priority may be a few important workflows, clear responsibilities and learning that fits daily operations. In a larger organisation, coordination across teams or locations matters more: shared leadership expectations, dependencies and consistent communication. We discuss these differences before choosing formats or the breadth of support.

### Concrete outputs, agreed scope

Depending on scope, the work can produce a prioritised diagnosis, agreed decisions and responsibilities, practical communication or learning materials, and routines that sustain adoption. Diagnostics establishes the starting point; Campaigning builds alignment and decisions; Embedding brings coaching, skills and new practices into regular work. Not every engagement needs every element.

### The people who need to be involved

Leadership should clarify direction and sponsor decisions. The teams responsible for processes or implementation contribute operational knowledge, while affected staff explain where change meets daily reality. Together, we agree who participates, who decides and who owns follow-through, including how existing internal teams and external support work alongside each other.

### Measure from a baseline

We agree what progress means before changing the work. Depending on the challenge, examples include processing time, use of agreed workflows, the quality of coaching conversations or whether decisions lead to action. Compare these signals with a baseline and review staff feedback. They are measurement examples, not promised results.
